Description
A fine flavor and smooth texture make Chesnok an ideal roasting garlic. With 8-12 tightly packed bulbs in a, tradionally, purple tinged wrapper. However, we joke this year that we should call this ChesNOT Red because the acidity of the soil was a bit lower this past growing season. Although the purple stripes are very faint the flavor is just the same.
“Chesnok” is literally the word “garlic” in Russian. Pronounced ‘Chess-knowK’ in Russian.
8 to 10 bulbs per pound.
